NoFraud Protection Service
NoFraud Protection Service is a Software-as-a-Service fraud prevention service that integrates with eCommerce platforms to provide real-time fraud screening and Pass or Fail decision for transactions. This includes:
- Web Platform Access – access via web browser to account information, settings, transaction screening decisions, analytics, and other information.
- Decision Engine – Industry tested algorithms that combine customer inputs with 3rd party sources to produce and analyze thousands of data points and provide Pass or Fail decisions on approximately 99.5% of transactions screened, automatically escalating the remaining percentage for Manual Review.
- Manual Review and Verification – The vast majority of transactions submitted to NoFraud receive an instant and actionable decision of Pass or Fail.
- In rare instances, certain high-risk orders may initially receive a Review decision.
- When that happens and NoFraud Verification Process is Enabled, NoFraud’s team of experienced Fraud Analysts reviews the high-risk order to ensure we are not automatically failing a good order.
- The NoFraud Verification process relies on technology that instantly checks hundreds of data points and creates a validation profile of the customer shopping on a site.
- It is based on this validation profile that NoFraud decisions are made. In some Review cases where we cannot validate the order based solely on the already available data, our analysts will reach out to the shopper to validate the order, using only contact information we can link to the cardholder with certainty.
- Phone Order Screening using the NoFraud Phone Screening function – When Phone Orders is enabled, the Service will collect the customer’s necessary data and connect it to the relevant order that the agent submitted on their behalf.
- The unique phone order code must be entered by the merchant’s agent prior to completing the shopper’s order, or the NoFraud screening will be skipped.
NoFraud provides numerous Service options for NoFraud Protection Service including:
- Chargeback Guarantee – NoFraud’s Chargeback Guarantee provides for reimbursement of certain charges, based on the terms of the policy (listed below).
- For example, for a $1,000 Qualified Transaction that receives a NoFraud decision of Pass–but subsequently results in a chargeback being imposed by a payment card issuer due to fraudulent charges—NoFraud will issue the merchant a credit in the amount of $1,000.
- NoFraud’s Chargeback Guarantee service is solely governed by the NoFraud Chargeback Guarantee Policy.
- Item Not Received (INR) Protection – NoFraud’s INR Protection covers orders with valid tracking showing the merchandise as delivered, when the shopper claims the merchandise was not received.
- NoFraud’s INR Protection policy covers merchants for the cost and representation duties for eligible Item Not Received or similar chargebacks, based on the terms of the policy (listed below).
- If NoFraud Passes an order that later gets a chargeback with an eligible Item Not Received reason code, NoFraud will reimburse the merchant for the cost of the order and take over the responsibility of responding to the case, based on the terms of the policy (listed below).
- The coverage amount will be limited to the order amount when the transaction was Passed by NoFraud.
- INR Protection is solely governed by the NoFraud’s INR Protection Policy.
- Other Coverages – Optional coverage for other types of chargebacks other than “fraud” and “item not received”.
- Currently, the list of other chargeback types includes: credit not processed, defective/unacceptable, general, not as expected, duplicate, and order/subscription canceled.
NoFraud Checkout
Service
NoFraud Checkout Service is a Software-as-a-Service hosted checkout service for eCommerce stores. NoFraud Checkout Service enables merchants to swap their native checkout experience with streamlined, low friction experience with basic branding options that shows only fields necessary for identity verification, shipping options, cart contents, pricing, policies, and payment options, and a Submit Order button.
NoFraud Chargeback Management Service
NoFraud Chargeback Management Service is a service by NoFraud’s experienced chargeback analysts, for chargebacks of all reason codes. When merchants grant NoFraud limited backend access to various platforms, NoFraud provides frictionless case management designed to remove the burden of handling and responding to chargebacks. (Note: NoFraud does not offer reimbursement for cases submitted via Chargeback Management.)
NoFraud Chargeback Management Service includes:
- Preventative Tips and Best Practices – We provide you with practical and actionable suggestions to implement in order to prevent chargebacks in the first place.
- In-Depth Case Investigation – This includes a detailed review of the case, communicating with the customer/cardholder, and compiling a comprehensive list of evidence relevant to the specific case.
- Comprehensive Representment/Response Submission – Once we’ve compiled evidence refuting the cardholder’s claim, we handle submission and communication with your processor/gateway, regardless of which platform you use.
- Frictionless Case Management – By granting NoFraud sub-user access to your eCommerce and payment platforms we will generally be able to handle the case from beginning to end, without disruption to or requiring arduous effort from your team.
- Account Audits – We will perform semi regular account audits to ensure you’re recovering the maximum revenue from chargebacks. These audits are performed by senior chargeback analysts and are designed to review your website, policies, and workflows, helping to ensure they are optimized to prevent and win chargebacks. We also can make the necessary updates to how we handle your cases, based on these account audits.
